UniAdvise (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates uniadvise.in and the Application Intelligence tool (profile-evaluation.uniadvise.in). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how it is handled.

By using our website or Application Intelligence, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly:
1). Name, email address, and phone number, when you sign up for a profile evaluation, contact us, or make a purchase.
2). Academic and professional details you enter into the profile evaluation form (e.g., target course, CGPA, work experience, test scores, extracurricular activities).
3). Your CV/resume, if you choose to upload one — used solely to generate a more personalised evaluation.
4). Payment-related information necessary to process a transaction (handled by our payment processor, Cashfree; see “Third parties we share data with” below).

Information collected automatically:
1). Basic usage and analytics data (pages visited, general location, device/browser type) via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to help us understand how the tool is used and improve it. Clarity may also record an anonymised replay of your interactions with a page.
2). Advertising measurement data via the Meta Pixel, used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show relevant ads.

How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
1). Generate your profile evaluation and, where applicable, personalise it using the details you provide.
2). Deliver purchased essay samples to the email address you provide.
3). Contact you about your evaluation, a purchase, or — where you have not opted out — about UniAdvise's consulting services.
4). Improve the tool and understand how it is being used, in aggregate and anonymised form.
5). Meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the service, respond to any queries or disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see “Your rights” below).

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and restricted, credential-protected access to stored data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights
You may, at any time, write to info@uniadvise.in to:
1). Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
2). Request correction of inaccurate data.
3). Request deletion of your data, subject to any legal retention requirements.
4). Withdraw consent to non-essential communications (e.g., marketing).

Complaints will be acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within 15 business days of receipt, wherever possible. If your complaint relates specifically to a payment transaction, it may also be escalated directly to Cashfree Payments' own grievance redressal process.
